On November 9, 2025, B.Sanjjamts, resident of Yaruu soum, Zavkhan province, found a young swan wounded at Khatavch pass while returning from Uliastai. Seeing a vulture attacking the bird, he frightened the predator away by throwing a stone and handed the injured swan to the Department of Nature Conservation of the province.
