On the night of 9 December 2025, at about 21:00, officers at Border Guard Unit 0108 in Zamii-Uud discovered nine hidden packages inside the frame of wagon No. 27 on freight train No. 1294, which was bound from Mongolia to the Chinese side. Deputy chiefs E.Badrakh and L.Batsaikhan led the inspection.
A joint, detailed check with the relevant authorities found 34.2 kg of saiga antlers (152 pieces) and a GPS device concealed in the shipment. The items were confiscated and transferred to the competent agency for further action and investigation.
