President Вattulga handed over belts to young judokas

On August 1, the President of Mongolia Khaltmaagiin Battulga met with young judokas, presented belts, and congratulated them wishing success in their sports career. President Battulga serves as the President of the Mongolian Judo Federation since 2006 and Head of Representatives of the Asian countries of the International Judo Federation. 

President Battulga handed over the yellow, orange, green, blue, and brown belts, along with the certificates to 66 young judokas who have successfully completed the Academy of Judo founded by the President himself. Following the ceremony, President Battulga congratulated young judokas and noted: “It has been quite a long time, since we founded the Academy of Judo. The purpose of the Academy is to attract young people and encourage them to get involved in sport and physical activity, and to let them spend time in the sport’s gym not in the internet. I would like to congratulate young judokas and trainers on receiving their new belts of rank”. 

Secretary-General of the Mongolian Judo Federation M.Bukhbat, Director of the Judo for Peace Commission of the International Judo Federation Nicolas Messner, and other officials were present at the ceremony. Concluding the ceremony, President Battulga gave an interview for a documentary film “Judo for the World”, produced by the International Judo Federation.
