(Ulaanbaatar) Jan 26, Parliament of Mongolia was set to discuss the draft bill on Debt Management this week.
DP Group leader MP B.Garamgaibaatar clarified that MPP Group discussion hasn't done yet, so the discussions are not happening this week, but emphasized that this bill is one of the important ones in line.
MPP Group couldn't come to unified outcome through their discussions yet, as they have differing opinions on the Government Guarantee.
Parties are concerned over the short term high interest rates debts as the bill provisions the opening of possibilities for private sector to raise funds as well backed by the Government.
DP group is aactivelty promoting this bill, while other parties are citing to the need to have more discussions. Especially the MPP Group.
