On November 16, Speaker of the Parliament Z.Enhbold received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary in Mongolia from Poland Mr. Micheal Labenda.
At the beginning of the meeting Speaker of the Parliament Z.Enhbold expressed his satisfaction on intensive development of political relations between Mongolia and Poland in recent years and he highlighted the inter-parliamentary relations of two countries. He mentioned about his official visit to Poland in March, 2015.
"I am very pleased that this year marks the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations with our country`s third neighbor Poland, member country of European Union", he stated.
Ambassador Micheal Labenda thanked to the Speaker of the Parliament for his time and gave report on elections held in Poland this year.
At the meeting, parties had official talks on industrial cooperation between Mongolian and Poland in political, economic and mining sectors and exchanged their views.
Speaker of the Parliament noted the many years of successful cooperation between the two countries in education sector and he appreciated Polish Government for supporting Mongolian students and youths to study in Poland.
In addition, he proposed to support the operation of Department of Mongol Studies in University of Warsaw.
The meeting was attended by the MP L.Bold and other officials.
