The National Dispatching Center announced that electricity supply will be restricted once a day for two hours until 22:00 (10:00 PM), while there will be no night-time restrictions.
O.Naranbaatar, senior engineer at the National Dispatching Center, said repair work on boiler No. 7 at the IV power plant was completed yesterday at 17:30 and the unit returned to full operation. However, restrictions remain necessary because of an ongoing coal-supply failure at the Buuruljut Power Plant, he said.
The National Dispatching Center reported that yesterday the longest restriction lasted 134 minutes and the shortest 60 minutes. For today, the system expects 100–150 MW of supply restrictions. Under the current plan, electricity will be curtailed once per day for two hours and no restrictions will be scheduled overnight.
