Prime Minister G.Zandanshatar visited Bayanzürkh District General Hospital on November 22, 2025, as influenza and flu-like illnesses rise, especially among children, hospital officials said.
Bayanzurkh district is home to roughly 430,000 people, and has seen a sharp increase in pediatric admissions: hospital sources told reporters that 252 children were being treated and 417 arrived at the emergency department overnight. In response, the Prime Minister ordered the mobilization of doctors from lower-load hospitals within 48 hours and the deployment of extra resident doctors in coordination with the Mongolian National University of Medical Science.
