The 26th edition of the Tour of Mongolia 2025, a six-day multi-stage race held in the Western Region, has successfully concluded. Covering a total distance of 603 kilometers across several provinces, International Sports Master (ISM) Maral-Erdene Batmunkh of the “Catco Racing Team” claimed victory, securing the fourth overall title.
The Tour of Mongolia was first organized in 1965, when ISM Ya.Baatar earned the inaugural championship. Since then, notable cyclists including ISM Sh.Jambal, SM G.Ganbold, State Honored Athlete J.Ulzii-Orshikh, and ISM B.Maral-Erdene have each won the race three times. With the latest triumph, B.Maral-Erdene now stands alone as a four-time champion.
In the final stage in Uliastai, the capital of Zavkhan province, B.Maral-Erdene successfully defended “Yellow Shirt” as the race leader, cementing the position at the top of this year’s competition.
