European Union Ambassador to Mongolia presented credentials

On November 8, the European Union Ambassador Ms Axelle Nicaise met with the U.Khurelsukh, the President of Mongolia, and had the honour of presenting her credentials as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the European Union to Mongolia. 

U.Khurelsukh, the President of Mongolia, expressed his gratitude to the European Union for its continued support to Mongolia since the transition to democracy, and stressed his desire to expand bilateral relations and cooperation in the field of green development and environmental protection. 

The President of Mongolia also thanked the European Union and its Members for their significant contribution to the Covid-19 pandemic through its funding of the COVAX program.

The Ambassador Ms Axelle Nicaise expressed her readiness to continue the successful implementation of the European Union's "Multi-annual indicative program” in Mongolia and to work closely together on sustainable green development and economic development.
