In cooperation with the Ulaanbaatar City Tourism Department and the "Chinggis" club, the Governor’s Office of the Capital City organized the "Steppe Wind" international moto festival at Sukhbaatar square for the seventh time. More than 2,000 athletes, sports club members, and motorcycle enthusiasts from 21 provinces of Mongolia and Russia, China, and South Korea participated in this festival.
The participants of the "Steppe Wind" moto festival paraded a total of 28.2 km along the route from Sukhbaatar square to the “Chingisiin Khuree” complex. The festival continued throughout the day and organized events such as entertainment shows, trade services, art performances, and fun games.
In 2019, more than 800 motorcyclists participated in the "Steppe Wind 2019" festival. Specifically, more than 200 motorcycle athletes from Russia and China, members of the "Tea Road" international tourism association, as well as representatives of motorcycle enthusiasts from Japan and India participated. The festival is significant for developing special interest tourism, promoting Mongolia internationally and attracting tourists.
