Mongolist to be Awarded with Khublai Khan Order

Khublai Khan order, supreme award of Mongolian Science Sector is to be awarded to German Mongolist Oliver Korff in recognition of his contribution into Mongol Studies.

Oliver Korff has intorduced the computerization of the Mongolian language linguistics research and is the author and team leader of linguists of 6 countries that published the 5 language dictionary in two books in 2014.

The specifics of this disctionary is its distinction from the conventional dictionary through comparative research of five languages and revising with the Thirty six glossary. The notes were written in German language. Moreover the dictionary interpreted the traditional dictionary into modern application, with German notes of the comparative works on Mongolian, Tibet, Manchu, Chinese and Turkic words.
