Earthquake in Nepal has led to tragic consequences to some of the climbers in the mountains. While two Mongolian climbers have contacte us yesterday at 10PM Ulaanbaatar time assuring they are being safe.
In his message he said that the team has spend 3 days at the height of 6400 m and due to the earthquake snow, ice and rock slid leading to tragic fatalities. They were planning the climb yesterday, but decided to postpone and currently have come down to height 5200 m, to be able to contact us.
According to B.Tseveendash, there was huge snowfall which continued three days and covering the area with dense fog, leading the team to postpone the climb for another 4-5 days.
In a message to Mongolians he assured that our Mongolian climbers are all safe.
