N.Natsagnyam receives 2015 APO National Award

The Asian Productivity Organization (APO) handed its 2015 APO National Award to State Honored Engineer N.Natsagnyam for his significant contributions in development of international productivity.

Vice Minister of Education, Culture and Science Ya.Tumurbaatar has participated in the award ceremony and he noted: "This is very important event for all Mongolian Engineers and I am very pleased that Mongolian national is being awarded."

The Asian Productivity Organization promotes sustainable development, enables sharing of information and technology, and works with productivity organizations in member nations to enable greater productivity and competitiveness.

The current membership is 20 economies, comprising Bangladesh, Cambodia, Republic of China, Fiji, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Islamic Republic of Iran, Japan, Republic of Korea, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Mongolia, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and Vietnam. These countries/economies pledge to assist each other in their productivity drives in a spirit of mutual cooperation by sharing knowledge, information, and experience.

This year, APO handed its 2015 APO National Award to one national from each Mongolia, Taiwan, Republic of Korea and Thailand. This award has been awarded 76 people since 1979.
