On May 22nd PM Ch.Saikhanbileg made an announcement regarding the signing of the Oyu Tolgoi Undergound Mine Development and Financing Plan at the Plenary session of the State Great Khural.
At the briefing session PM said that the agreement secures investments of USD 6 billion from the 14 leading internaitonal banking institutions and also mentioned that Mongolian side initiated the plan and Erdenes Oyu Tolgoi was leading the negotiations. The negotiation and development of the plan involved domestic and international advisers and the plan adheres to Mongolian legislation.
