The spring of this year has been harsh on the higher level state officials as the cabinet decided to cut on the expenses and restrict the use of SUV cars in the city. We have interviewed Deputy Head of the State Property Committee J.Tumurbaatar on the progress of the cabinet resolution.
-How is the progress of collection of SUVs at the state entities?
-Cabinet has approved the resolution on limiting the use of vehicle within the city vicinity for the state officials. The resolution regulated the use of the vehicles, number of vehicles to be used by the state officials.
In accordance with the resolution State Property Committee is in charge of the colleciton of the vehicles from the ministries, state agencies, state owned entities which are not being used per its purpose.
Last week we have collected 68 vehicles and distributed to Border Protection units and some local prosecutor offices.
-How many vehicles in total will the committee collect?
-After studies on the vehicles owned by the state entities over 200 vehicles were needed to tbe collected. Most of those cars are under use of the projects and as the projects end many more will be collected.
-SUVs that being used by managing state officials are to be changed with smaller cars. How the changing process will proceed?
-We are to make aarangements and no new cars will be purchased for any state entity.
