Prime Minister meets with Representatives of Stanford Univeristy

Prime Minister of Mongolia Ch.Saikhanbileg is paying a working visit in United States during June 23-27. On the first day of his visit PM met with representatives of Stanford University Medical School led by Prof. Jeffrey Glen.

Sides have exchanged their views on establishing bio technology and bio supplement factories in Mongolia and on possibilities of conducting joint research in this field. Mongolia is leading with liver disease and while currently liver treatment is being manufactured in developed countires doctors and researchers of Stanford University have proposed the manufacture of those in developing countries. Therefore, both sides discussed on the possibilities of joint initial investments of USD 20-40 million.

Prime Minister said that Mongolia will consider the proposed projects as it gives an opportunity for Mongolian economy to divesify.
