D.Sumiya, Judo Team athlete of Mongolia, wins Gold medal at the Universiade in Gwanju.
In the final match she defeate her opponent Judoka Andrea Bekich from Croatia at 2:55 mins by taking two wazari.
This was the second competition for her in just 3 days period.
With her Gold medal team Mongolia ranking was upgraded to 13th place.
In the first round of matches D.Sumiya defeated her opponent Kim Jang Di from South Korea with yuko. Kim defeated D.Sumiya in their previous matches during Longon Olympics and Incheon Asian Games.
Second round matches she won over Rachel Oliver from USA and Amlei Gulhar from France advancing to the semi-finals where she defeated Anzu Yamamoto from Japan.
By winning at Gwangju-2015 student Universiade D.Sumiya brings third gold medal in Judo preceeded by Kh.Boldbaatar who won first gold medal at the Universiade and M.Bundmaa.
