Current account deficit stands at US$ 410.2 million, decrease of 69 percent compared to the same period of previous year. This is due to increase in surplus of trade in goods by US$ 748.9 million and decline of deficit on trade in services by 43 percent or US$ 415.6 million.
Capital and financial accounts show surplus of US$ 661.0 million, decrease of 58 percent or US$ 242.6 million from the previous year, as a result of fall in foreign direct investment. And other investment deficit has dropped by 63 percent or US$ 284.5 million from a year prior.
