Capital City Special Inspection Authority conducted investigations and monitoring on 29 entities including 10 US stores, five Indian shops, two sex shops and 11 drug supply organizations during Sep 7-11.
Total of 220 types of drugs worth of MNT 11,830, 576 which violated the labeling, expiration date and state registration status of the drugs and medical supplies was confiscated.
Of which 107 types of drugs worth of MNT 8,845,350 are revealed from US and Indian stores which were not registered to state registration status of the drugs while 54 types of drugs worth of MNT 1,985,800 are revealed from two pharmacies named "Sulden" and "Ananas".
Moreover, "Sulden" pharmacy has been selling 36 types of expired drugs worth of MNT 642,990 and supplying 23 types of 407 drugs worth of MNT 203,350 to pharmacies named Munhiin tun and Ananas located in "Dalaihuu" shopping center.
According to the violation, official requirements were sent to three entities, four entities have been fined MNT 1.9 million, two officials have been fined MNT 1.65 million, two residents have been fined MNT 300.000 and three entities have been fined MNT 730.000 by Capital City Special Inspection Authority.
Following actions to be taken in the future;
- Cancel the special license of "Ananas" pharmacy
- Cancel the special license of entity which supply Intimate bioactive products
- Hold regular monitoring on US and Indian stores
