Today, autumn regular session of the State Great Hural commences. The first draft law to be discussed at the session is law on pardon. Plenary session of the State Great Hural will be held on Friday.
Today, the first issue to be discussed at the State structure standing committee is whether to dismiss MP and Head of the Cabinet Secretariat S.Bayartsogt.
MP O.Baasankhuu submitted draft resolution to dismiss MP S.Bayartsogt to Z.Enkhbold, Speaker of Parliament on September 8th.
According to the MP O.Baasankhuu, Minister and Head of the Cabinet Secretariat S.Bayartsogt is not suitable for the position, lacks skills to lead the sector and has violated the law.
Also he views that S.Bayartsogt does not meet the ethical requirements of a member of cabinet and is demanding the dismissal from the current position.
Few days later the MPRP and the DP agreed to set up new Government, MP O.Baasanhuu submitted draft resolution to dismiss MP S.Bayartsogt, which caught many eyes. Members of MPRP in State Great Hural stated on that cause: "We are doubtful over how long your coalition will survive for".
State structure standing committee has 19 members including MP S.Bayartsogt. Total of 12 MPs from MPRP and DP are the members of this committee means the draft resolution to dismiss MP S.Bayartsogt submitted by the MP O.Baasanhuu is expected to be not supported.
