Revised Law on Value Added Tax has started to be followed since Jan 1st. Residents are enabled to refund two percent of their total purchase annually (at the end of the year) as well as able to win a prize from lottery to be conducted every month by registering their payment receipts at ebarimt.mn.
The first lottery of VAT will be conducted on Jan 17th and the winner of MNT 100 million to be announced. Moreover, it offers other prizes.
As of today, 4000 simplified program to print the receipt was installed at 4000 spots in nationwide. This year, 170.000 payment receipt were registered at ebarimt.mn.
Today PM Ch.Saihanbileg visited at Minii Hypermarket to purchase his first products of 2016 and received VAT receipt.
In further, more than 10.000 entities to install the simplified program to print receipts. Residents should collect every receipts and register ot through their user account at ebarimt.mn.

In 2016, residents have complained that small shops are not providing receipts.

“Issue related to simplified program to print receipt will be followed under business principles. There are more than ten companies installing the program. These companies are working at their full capacity.
The General Department of Taxation developed ebarimt.mn and every tax payers are able to register and print the receipts through their user account.
