Public transportation service to some aimags were stopped due to strong storm with heavy snow hitting Bayan-Ulgii, Uvs and Gobi-Altai aimags.
Specifically public transportation service to following aimags were stopped:
- Uvs,
- Zavhan,
- Hovd,
- Gobi-Altai,
- Bayan-Ulgii,
- Bayanhongor,
- Uvurhangai,
- Arhangai,
- Huvsgul.
Moreover, the blizzard condition cause limitations to the movement of vehicles on roads to Uvs, Gobi-Altai, Bayan-Ulgii, Zavhan, Uvurhangai, Arhangai and Bayanhongor aimags during Mar 3-4.
Snow storm to hit Arhangai, Uvurhangai, Bulgan, Selenge, Tuv and Dundgobi aimags tonight and to hit Tuv, Hentii and Dundgobi aimags tomorrow.
Winds will reach 18-20 m/s and sometimes it will get stronger reaching 24 m/s at Unmugobi, southern parts of Uvurhangai tonight and at Umnugobi, Dundgobi, Dornogobi tomorrow.
