"Colours of the World" International Festival of Language and Culture

"Colours of the World" International Festival of Language and Culture (IFLC) was held on May 21 at the Central Cultural Palace of Ulaanbaatar.

Ts.Oyunbaatar, Deputy Minister of Mongolia delivered an opening speech and stated that today Mongolians are very happy for children around the world gathered in Ulaanbaatar to organize their festival. IFLC is the biggest festival of peace and friendship. I would like to thank communities of Turkish Elite school and the Empathy school for initiating and organizing the festival successfully.

Hero of the Soviet Union and cosmonaut J.Gurragchaa and Deputy Minister of Mongolia Ts.Oyunbaatar were awarded with the cup of memories.

IFLC is an annual celebration and showcase for the diversity of linguistic talents from across the world.

The IFLC first started in 2003 and proceeded with only 17 countries participating. Whereas last year, 145 countries took part in this event with more than 2000 participants.

This year talented children from USA, Turkey, Romania, Russia, Denmark, Poland, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Tanzania, Tunisia, Belarus, Cambodia and Mongolia have attended the festival.
