Mongolia harvested 450 thousand tons of wheat

According to the balance report of the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry, Mongolia harvested more than 450 thousand tons of wheat, which meets the annual flour demand of Mongolia, stated by the officials.

On the other hand, Russia created the biggest wheat glut and seized 120 million tons of grain for the first time in history. Of which 74 million tons are wheat and planned to export 30 million tons. Experts say that world is having surplus of wheat production due to rich harvest of wheat in many countries.

Wheat price averaged US$ 150 per ton at the world market, while it has ranging between MNT 400-440 per ton in Mongolia based on the quality.
