General Police Department conducted re-investigation on the case of S.Ganbaatar, a presidential nominee of Mongolian People`s Revolutionary Party and submitted the report to the court on June 23.
General Council of Courts said it was impossible to discuss the case due to the fact that the case was submitted 10 minutes before finishing the work. Thus, the case was set to be finalized after the election, on June 27.
Earlier, a voice recording of S.Ganbaatar spread among social media. In the voice recording, S.Ganbaatar was receiving KRW 50 (100 million Tugrik) million donation from a Korean citizen Yu Van Su.
On Jun 22, Police Department reported that the voice recording of S.Ganbaatar is not a fake and confirmed as a real and transferred the case to the court of Bayanzurkh district. However, the court of Bayanzurkh district concluded that the investigation was incomplete and obliged to conduct an additional investigation on the case.
Meanwhile, Police Department requested S.Ganbaatar and Leader of MPRP to give an explanation on the case. However, the candidate delivered any response to the request.
