Magnitude 4.6 earthquake occurs in Tuv province

At 23:47 on July 18, an earthquake occured in area which located 5 km east from Bayantsogt soum, Tuv province.

M.Ulziibat, Chief of Earthquake department of Astronomy and Geophysics Research Center, reported that the earthquake magnitude was 4.6.

Astronomy and Geophysics Research Center registered 7 earthquakes in May and 1 in June. In particular,

• At 23:25 on June 12, earthquake with magnitude of 4.3 struck off an area which located 29 km northeast from Saikhan-Ovoo soum, Dundgovi province.

• At 15:34 on May 20, earthquake with magnitude of 3.6 struck off an area which located 90 km southwest from Altai soum, Govi-Alita province.

• At 20:28 on May 16, earthquake with magnitude of 4.1 struck off an area which located 22 km southwest from Zag soum, Bayankhongor province. 

• At 12:06 on May 15, earthquake with magnitude of 3.5 struck off an area which located 22 km east from Umnudelger soum, Khentii province.
