“Blue pearl” ice festival takes place in Khuvsgul province in every 2nd of March since 2001 aiming to develop winter tourism and advertising Mongolia to foreigners.
As for this year, G.Ganbold, Governor of Khusvgul province, has made order to organize the event between February 28 and March 1. While N.Tserenbat, Minister of Tourism delivered official letter 164/19 dated November 13 to celebrate on March 2-4.
According to the Minister’s official letter, G.Ganbold, Governor of Khuvsgul province, was obliged to organize “Blue pearl” ice festival on March 2-4 which is regular date. The festival has big impact on business owners, local economy and tourist amount to Mongolia.
Furthermore, Eagle festival in Ulaanbaatar will be held on March 4, and Camel festival in Umnugovi province will be held on March 6 according to the ordinance.
