OVERVIEW March 30: 2 patients of COVID-19 were recovered and discharged after 14 and 20 days

Currently, 12 cases of COVID-19 have been registered in Mongolia. Followings are overview related to the cases in Mongolia.

March 10, 2020: The first case of COVID-19 registered in Mongolia. A French citizen who arrived in Chinggis Khan Airport on March 2 resulted positive to Coronavirus. Direct contacts of French citizen were tested and resulted negative.

March 16, 2020: Two cases registered from Seoul-UB flight passengers arrived on March 15, and 1 case registered from Berlin-Moscow-Ulaanbaatar flight arrived on March 16. 

March 18, 2020: The fifth case was detected from Berlin-Moscow-Ulaanbaatar flight arrived on March 16.

March 19, 2020: The sixth case was detected from Berlin-Moscow-Ulaanbaatar flight arrived on March 16.

March 21, 2020: 4 more cases were detected from Berlin-Moscow-Ulaanbaatar flight arrived on March 16. Total 156 passengers were tested. 2 male and 2 female. Total 10 cases registered in Mongolia.

March 26, 2020: 221 passengers arrived through Istanbul-Ulaanbaatar flight on March 18, and tested. 1 person registered positive to COVID-19 which is 11th case in Mongolia. Ministry of Health extended isolation period by one week due to infections are registered after 14 days of isolation. 

March 28, 2020: Re-test result of passenger from Ulaanbaatar-Istanbul flight is positive to COVID-19. The 12th case registered in Mongolia.

2 people resulted positive to the virus were recovered and discharged from hospital

March 30, 2020: The first two patients were recovered and discharged from hospital. The symptoms have completely disappeared and they have been discharged. However, the two people will be separated at home for 14 days and have to control themselves.
