16th case of COVID-19 registered in Mongolia

Today, General Director of the National Center for Communicable Diseases D.Nyamkhuu reported “A citizen who is under isolation in Selenge province has been resulted positive to Covid-19 after the 2nd test. This is the 16th confirmed case in Mongolia. Re-tests of 14 infected citizens at NCCD, 192 passengers arrived through Istanbul-Ulaanbaatar flight, and 25 citizens under check-up resulted negative to Coronavirus”.

Medicine named after Avigan, developed by Japanese scientists, is used for the virus treatment in Mongolia. Mongolia uses medicine that are used in the treatment of Coronavirus around the world. 

Citizens are under isolation for 21 days according to the WHO standards. Citizens should continue be responsible by wearing masks and improving controls on sanitation.
