Today, General Director of the National Center for Communicable Diseases D.Nyamkhuu reported “Two suspects in Songdo hospital were tested and resulted negative. The virus was not detected by PCR, which is a detailed genetic sequence of the virus. However, it was announced that the rapid test was used and not checked in detail. It is important to note that rapid tests are not the final result of the test”.
Five citizens from Dundgovi province were resulted negative to COVID-19. People in the hospital are in good condition. Total 245 people are at the NCCD.
A.Ambaselmaa, Head of Surveillance Department of NCCD, reported “About the two patients in Songdo hospital, one had cancer and other one had chronic bronchitis. Yesterday, rapid test was made to those patients and resulted positive to COVID-19. And final confirmation was made at laboratory of NCCD and resulted negative. Rapid test is used for citizens in NCCD, and no positive result hasn’t been detected”.
