A.Ambaselmaa, Head of Surveillance Department of NCCD, reported today “COVID-19 was detected from TIR driver who arrived in Altanbulag border on April 18. The driver and his wife are feeling normal without any symptoms. Total registered cases are 34. The driver went to Budapest, Hungary on February 21. We isolated 79 international transport drivers.
International transport drivers travel for a long time, and families have requested to meet them with purpose of giving clothes and food. But request is not supported due to safety and sanitation.
Drivers were provided with protection clothes, and they were isolated in separate room in hotel”.
