M.Enkhjargal lost to Colombian boxer and won a bronze medal

IBA Women's World Boxing Championships is being held in New Delhi, India. The semi-final matches for the silver medal began yesterday.

In the -54 kg category for the silver medal, Enkhjargal Munguntsetseg lost to Yeni Marcela Arias Castañeda,  a Colombian boxer, by 4:1. 

8 athletes of the Mongolian national team are participating in the IBA Women's World Boxing Championships: 

1. In the -50 kg category, B. Mungunsaran left in a round of 32 after defeating the Turkish boxer, and finished the tournament after losing to the Spanish athlete in the round of 32.

2. In the -52 kg weight category, O.Yesugen defeated the Thai boxer in the round of 32 and the Mozambican boxer in the round of 16, and left in the round of 8.

3. In the -50 kg category, M.Namuun lost to a Colombian boxer and finished the competition.

4. In the -54 kg category, M.Enkhjargal defeated the Vietnamese boxer and left in the round of 32, defeated the Moroccan boxer and left in the round of 16, defeated the Brazilian boxer and left in the quarterfinals, and qualified for the bronze medal after defeating the Italian boxer.

5. In the -60 kg category, T.Nomin-Erdene lost to the Japanese boxer and left the competition.

6. In the -48 kg category, L.Altantsetseg defeated the French boxer and left in the round of 16, defeated the Chinese boxer and qualified for the bronze medal.

7. In the -66 kg category, M.Tsetsegdari left in the round of 16  after defeating the Japanese boxer, and finished the tournament by losing in the quarterfinals.

8. In the -63 kg category, U.Shinetsetseg lost to a French boxer and ended the competition.
