Mongolian Indie Rock Band Seventh September to Release Unique EP 'Oh! 979' on April 14th

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia - Seventh September, a Mongolian indie rock band known for their emotive music that captures the essence of autumn, is set to release a unique EP titled 'Oh! 979' on April 14th, 2023. The EP features three tracks, each representing a different genre, and promises to be an exciting departure from their previous work.

Seventh September, formed on September 7th, 2019, Sukhbat Dorjpalam as the vocalist and guitarist, Bat-Undral Bat-Ulzii on bass guitar, Munkhbayasgalan Damdinsuren on lead guitar, and Erdenebayar Khishigbayar on drums, and while their primary genres are Indie rock, synth pop, and post punk, they frequently experiment with other genres to convey the emotions and feelings of their band members through music. The band has quickly gained a following in Mongolia and beyond, and their unique sound has been praised by critics and fans alike.

The three tracks on 'Oh! 979', "Urgakh Nar", "Ungiin Budag", and "Us!", each represent a different genre and were created with the intention of capturing the emotions and feelings of the band members through music.

Seventh September primarily plays Indie rock, Synth pop, and Post-Punk, but with 'Oh! 979', they are experimenting with new sounds and pushing their music in new directions."

'Oh! 979' was produced by Mongolian metal band Growl of Clown and recorded at The Library Records by Munkh-Orgil Turbold.

"The beautiful nature of Mongolia, the life of its noble people, inherited instincts, and the impressive nomadic life that embodies Mongolia's spirit have inspired the band to passionately create their debut album," said the band's lead singer Sukhbat Dorjpalam.
