At the invitation of L.Oyun-Erdene, the Prime Minister of Mongolia, Fumio Kishida, the Prime Minister of Japan, will pay an official visit to Mongolia on August 11-12.
During his visit, he will hold meetings with L.Oyun-Erdene, the Prime Minister of Mongolia, U.Khurelsukh, the President of Mongolia, and D.Amarbayasgalan, the Speaker of the Mongolian Parliament.
The main purposes of the official visit are to ensure the implementation of the 2022-2031 Action Program of the partnership, and develop the "Special Strategic Partnership for Peace and Prosperity" relationship with Japan in the framework of the “Third Neighbor” policy.
This visit is being made after 8 years since 2016 at the level of the Prime Minister of Japan, and is important for the development of "people-centered" approach and cooperation with Japan, which has common democratic values, in all areas within the framework of Mongolia's future development policies and goals.
Since 2022, Mongolia and Japan are developing the relationship of "Special Strategic Partnership for Peace and Prosperity".
