Speaker of the Parliament of Mongolia D.Amarbayasgalan has commenced his official visit to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. On March 19, 2025, he met with the Speaker of the House of Commons, Sir Lindsay Hoyle, at the Palace of Westminster.
During their discussions, both parties highlighted the growing bilateral relations between Mongolia and the UK in recent years and stressed the importance of high-level exchanges and collaboration. They also explored ways to strengthen ties between their legislative bodies, particularly through enhanced cooperation between the Secretariat and parliamentary groups.
Speaker D.Amarbayasgalan outlined Mongolia’s parliamentary reforms, including the “Three Perfections” policy, aimed at strengthening governance. He also discussed ongoing efforts to boost the economy, attract investment, and improve the legal framework. In response, Speaker Hoyle welcomed the Mongolian delegation and expressed his confidence that the visit would deepen parliamentary cooperation.
Following their meeting, Speaker D.Amarbayasgalan signed the Guest Book of Honor at the House of Commons, marking a significant milestone in Mongolia-UK relations.
