The government of Mongolia held a non-regular extended meeting today. At the beginning of the meeting, a proposal to extend the quarantine period made by the State Emergency Commission was discussed and the government approved to extend the strict quarantine period for 14 days until 6 AM of December 1, based on
Article 11.3.3 of the Law on Disaster Protection.
In this regard, the Deputy Prime Minister of Mongolia and Chairman of the State Emergency Commission Ya. Sodbaatar was authorized to manage activities and provide unified management, organization and coordination. The Minister of Education and Science was also authorized to re-conduct a detailed research of students in university dormitories and to spend the cost of providing students with food, sanitation and health products from the cost of kindergarten meals and school lunches.
