The National Script, Culture, and Book Days 2026, marking the 40th edition of Mongolia’s Book Festival, officially began today.
Held under the auspices of the President of Mongolia, this year’s festival will run from September 18 to 20, at Sukhbaatar Square.
The program includes meetings between authors and readers, new book launches, book fairs, autograph sessions, calligraphy demonstrations, and a range of activities for children and young people.
The festival is being held nationwide with the aim of promoting Mongolia’s national script and cultural heritage, fostering a reading culture, and strengthening connections between authors and readers.
