ULAANBAATAR (GoGo Mongolia) - Mongolian team won 73 medals from The 2nd Asia Open Memory Championship 2017 out of total 90 medals of the tournament.
The 2nd Asia Open Memory Championship 2017 took place in Hong Kong during August 26th to 27th. The tournament gathered 150 mind athletes from 11 countries.
A total of 20 students of Mongolian Intellectual Academy competed for the tournament in three age categories and grabbed 73 medals including 28 gold, 25 silver, and 20 bronze medals.
During the tournament, Mongolian athletes set six world records. They took first three places in the three age categories. By the personal result, N.Munkhshur, a Youth World champion, won the tournament after overall results of all matches. By doing so, she has gone up to 2nd place in the senior world ranking. Moreover, E.Lhagvadulam captured a gold medal in the youths’ division, while B.Ariunbileg won the junior division.
This is the second championship title of Mongolia in the Asia Open Memory Championships. As of today, Mongolia collected 685 medals in international competitions.
