At the invitation of U.Khurelsukh, the President of Mongolia, His Majesty Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, King of Bhutan will pay a State Visit to Mongolia on July 8-15, 2024.
Within the framework of the visit, U.Khurelsukh, the President of Mongolia, and His Majesty Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, King of Bhutan will exchange views on strengthening bilateral relations and cooperation in the international and regional arena. The two parties will also sign documents to strengthen the legal basis of bilateral relations.
In addition, His Majesty King Jigme and his family will attend the grand opening ceremony of the Mongolian National Naadam Festival as the Guest of Honour.
This marks the first visit by the Head of State of the Kingdom of Bhutan to Mongolia since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries in 2012.
