India-Mongolia Relations Conference held in New Delhi

The Indian Council for Cultural Relations, Jawaharlal Nehru University, India Foundation, and the Embassy of Mongolia in the Republic of India organized the second India-Mongolia Relations Conference on January 9, in New Delhi, India.

The first conference was held in Ulaanbaatar under the theme of Chinggis Khaan and his legacy.

The conference participants included lecturer and associate professor of the School of Business Administration and Humanities of Mongolian University of Science and Technology B. Purevsuren; General Director of the International Institute for the Study of Nomadic Civilizations D. Purevjav; Ambassador Phunchok Stobdan; and professor from the Centre for Inner Asian Studies of the School of International Studies at Jawaharlal Nehru University discussed the historical links between Mongolia and India, texts, literary heritage, and the role of Kushok Bakula Rinpoche in shaping India-Mongolia relations.

It was decided that the third conference will be organized in Ulaanbaatar.
