The Financial Regulatory Commission (FRC) held its first regular meeting of 2018 on January 10.
During the meeting, the commission decided to cancel some special permits for non-banking financial institutions (NBFIs), including the insurance appraisal permit of Property Assessment Center LLC; the savings and loan permits of Yalalt Investment and Movetugeder; the non-banking financial permit of Eltize LLC; and the foreign currency trading permit of Tavan Bogd LLC.
Special permits were extended for three savings and loan associations, and permits were granted to two NBFIs in Ulaanbaatar and Arkhangai Province. The FRC also granted a payment guarantee permit to Investcore LLC and a special permit for online payments, cash transfers, and foreign currency trading to Solomon Investments LLC.
