L.Oyun-Erdene, Prime Minister of Mongolia, handed over a seal to Kh.Nyambaatar, newly appointed Governor of the Capital city.
The Prime Minister said, “Within the framework of his authority reflected in the Constitution of Mongolia, Kh.Nyambaatar is being appointed as the Governor of the Capital and the Mayor of Ulaanbaatar. I hope that he will pay attention to the problem of corruption that has been accumulated and rotten for more than 30 years.
Also, I am giving him an order to develop long-term, medium-term and short-term reform planning within the framework of "Vision-2050" and "New Revival Policy", and make it approved by the Parliament and the Government urgently before the fall session ends.
Kh.Nyambaatar, newly appointed Governor of the Capital city, said, “I have accepted the responsibility of solving rotten problems and approving policy documents in a city with a population of 1.7 million. I would like to express that I will work closely with the Parliament and the Government to ensure the basic rights of citizens to live healthy and safe lives”.
