A tomb of ancient human was found at Tekhtiin Valley of Altantsogts soum, Bayan-Ulgii aimag. Scientists of the Institute of History and Archeology, Academy of Sciences defined that the rock tomb belongs to the XIII century.
The grave contained many attractive items including the dead body in tree-coffin, saddle, stirrup, bow, arrow case, wooden cap, felt ongo and cotton deel, which have been preserved well. The bow, arrow case, saddle and deel were intact and the scientists highlight that felt ongo, a worship object of medieval Mongolians has been found in physical type for the first time.
