At the invitation of Khurelsukh Ukhnaa, the President of Mongolia, Kassym-Jomart Kemeluly Tokayev, the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, will pay a state visit to Mongolia on October 28-29, 2024. This marks the first state visit from a Kazakhstan’s head of state to Mongolia in 16 years, following the 2008 visit.
During the visit, President U.Khurelsukh and President K.Tokayev will hold official talks to review the progress made in bilateral relations over the past 30 years and explore ways to elevate their traditional friendly ties. Discussions will focus on enhancing cooperation through economic partnerships and expanding collaboration in international and regional arenas.
The visit will also see the signing of various intergovernmental and interorganizational agreements, which will solidify the legal framework for bilateral relations and promote cooperation in fields such as transport, logistics, agriculture, veterinary, information technology, culture, and tourism.
