Four bridges to be constructed in 2017 in Ulaanbaatar

The constructions of two bridges above the Tuul River have started with its groundbreaking ceremony on June 5. Specifically, the reconstructions of 312m long bridge in Bayanzurkh district and 289.4m long reinforced concrete bridge in Sonsgolon are expected to be finished this year.

Including the reconstruction of Yarmag Bridge and construction of underpass connecting Olympic Street and Ikh Mongol Street, a total of 4 bridges are planned to be built within 2017.

According to O.Bayarkhuu, Deputy Governor of Ulaanbaatar City, pedestrian bridge with lengths of 60, 40 and 20m are expected to be built at Selbe subcenter within the framework of the project implementing with Asian Development Bank. Furthermore, a few other overpasses are expected in 2018.
