Laos Foreign Minister paying official visit to Mongolia

At the invitation of B.Battsetseg, Foreign Minister of Mongolia, a delegation led by Foreign Minister Thongsavanh Phomvihane of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic is paying an official visit to Mongolia on August 19-23, 2025. 

During the visit, Foreign Minister Thongsavanh Phomvihane will meet with Mongolia’s state and government leaders and hold official talks with Foreign Minister B.Battsetseg.

He will also attend the 10th Foreign Ministers’ Meeting of the Forum for East Asia and Latin America Cooperation (FEALAC), scheduled to take place in Ulaanbaatar on August 20-22, 2025.

The two sides are expected to exchange views on a broad range of issues, including strengthening cooperation in trade, economy, agriculture, transport and logistics, education, culture, and humanitarian affairs, as well as collaboration within international and regional frameworks.
