Starting from July, 2019, one electric bus has been used on a trial basis for four seasons, covering a total of 48,000 km. Electric buses have 90.4 percent less expense comparing with diesel buses.
Compared to diesel bus, electric bus will save MNT 4.2 million per fuel and oil. Therefore, it is estimated that 46 electric buses will save MNT 197 million per month and MNT 2.3 billion per year.
According to Citizens’ Representative Office of Ulaanbaatar, MNT 391 million will be centralized for loan repayment monthly. 50.4% will be made from fuel saving and 49.6% will be made from working hour cost.
