On October 5, 2026, the Parliament of Mongolia held its third discussion on the draft law to amend the Law on the 2026 Budget of Mongolia and the accompanying draft laws.
During the plenary session, N.Naranbaatar, Chair of the Standing Committee on Budget, proposed that the committee reconvene to reconsider several previously unsupported proposals, including those concerning an increase in care allowances for persons with disabilities and rental payments submitted by the Ministry of Education.
Following the proposal, the plenary session directed the Standing Committee on Budget to reconvene and reconsider the matters.
The Standing Committee on Budget subsequently met and voted on proposals involving substantive differences in the draft law in accordance with the instructions received during the plenary session. With the majority of members supporting the proposals, the draft law was referred back to the Standing Committee on Budget for preparation for the fourth discussion.
The plenary session then concluded after the final wording of the draft parliamentary resolution concerning the fifth conclusion of the Constitutional Court of Mongolia for 2026 was formally presented.
