Once Nostradamus have predicted that in 21st century Chinggis soldiers will come back and raid the globe.
It seems like this prediction have come true as this equestrian team has been performing for over 10 years since they first came to Jeju.
HIstory books tell that this land was once the military base for Chinggis Khaan, where war horses were bred back in 13th century.
Other sources say that these gorgeous Jeju island horses were the descendants of special horse breed of Khubilai reign period.
Jeju island is famous for its population of horses which reaches 2000 as almost 70 per cent of all the horses are located on this island, and this is the most visited destinations in South Korea.
Mongolian equestrian troop came here in 1997 with Mr Sh.Tsogtkhuu, President of "All Mongolian Equestrian Union". Mongolian Equestrian Show has become one of the must sees ever since.
The show was fascinating enough to awe visitors, who probably have never been close to a horse. During our visit, troop was exhibiting show based on history of South Korea.
Over 50 talented Mongolian equestrians do acrobatics, dance and archery on a horseback. Breathtacking sight indeed. It is beyond words to see slender girls doing stunts equally along with their male counterparts.
Whole show is produced by young talented guys in their 20s E.Erdene and G.Iderbaatar. Their team includes artists of 14-30 age and eight of them are girls.
We had a chance to interview talented Mongolian equestrians after their show.
