Photo Report of 2015 Ice Festival at Huvsgul lake

"Ice Festival" is held on the frozen Huvsgul lake annually in March, just after "Tsagaan Sar" with the aim to develop winter tourism. 

Event includes a gala opening ceremony on the ice, a folklore concert, shaman ceremony, fashion shows and many competitions featuring ice sculptures, ice ankle bone shooting, plus horse, reindeer sled, jeep and ice skating races. 

Ice Festival named "Amazing Huvsgul" became one of the major events which attracts both foreign and domestic tourists. 

This year the event is scheduled to be held on March 2-5.
